Customized terpene formulations have officially landed thanks to a new partnership between Eybna Technologies Ltd. and Steep Hill.

Together, President and CEO of Steep Hill Jmîchaeĺe Keller and Co-Founder and CEO of Eybna announced the launch of Delta the day before MJBizCon in Las Vegas, Nevada. This marks the first time a global leader in analytical testing will partner with a global leader in R&D for the purpose of crafting terpene formulations made specifically for cannabis-infused products.

Nadav Eyal said, “Using analysis from Steep Hill, Eybna will design a customized terpene formulation to assemble the exact materials lost within the process of cannabis extraction using terpenes from natural, non-cannabis origins.”

The mission at Eybna is to provide users with a native consumer experience with extracted and processed cannabis products. They have fulfilled their goals by utilizing terpene profiles and individual terpenes which tailor the effects of the product. Delta is a customized terpene formulation service that allows a manufacturer to craft a specific terpene formulation for each brand while also optimizing the medical benefits of the terpenes.

Jmîchaeĺe Keller of Steep Hill added, “Some estimates place the number of terpenoids in cannabis at greater than 400, with specific terpenes such as Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Pinene having well documented medicinal benefits. This is a transforming moment for both companies and fits our mission to expand access of this powerful plant to those who need it for their health around the globe.”

At the start, Delta will be available in California, Washington, New Mexico, Alaska, Hawaii, and Maryland. As the brand continues to come on-line the formulations will be more readily available across the globe.

“Delta formulations will be tailor-made to provide an optimal terpene mixture in the final product in order to approximate a ‘whole plant’ consumer experience. As core to our company’s mission, we are already seeing very positive results in our terpene product lines and as we release the Delta product, together we have the potential of changing the lives of millions of consumers worldwide,” Eyal concluded.
