PhytaTech Labs is based in Denver, Colorado and most recently they’re the latest ISO-17025 certified lab in the country.
This trusted Colorado testing lab is officially accredited by the American Association Laboratories Accreditation (A2LA). A2LA is a third-party body that performs accreditation to international standards. They provide an objective perspective to provide transparency in the testing industry. Being ISO certified means that PhytaTech meets rigid A2LA standards and that they are one of a few in the country who can claim as such. With this certification comes a crown of quality and competence for a lab, and Phytatech is very pleased to now be officially certified.
Stephen Goldman, laboratory director of PhytaTech, articulated what went into this accreditation “PhytaTech is extremely proud and excited to receive this accreditation. It reflects all the hard work my team has put into our Quality Systems as well as the attention to detail that each of our customers receives.”
Their ISO-17025 accreditation allows the cannabis testing lab to perform tests on the flower, concentrate, topical and edible products. It also covers the scope of state-licensed medical, recreational, and hemp customers. The team is capable of chemical testing like cannabinoid potency analysis and residual solvent contamination. Their biological contaminant testing suite includes E.Coli, Salmonella, and total yeast and molds.
As of now, they are one of only eight A2LA ISO-17925 accredited laboratories in the United States. PhytaTech is also one of very few Colorado testing labs to include full potency, RSA, and microbial contamination testing within the scope of their work. Their team has long been known in the Colorado community for delivering clear, concise, expedient work. Now they are pleased to add another accolade to the docket.
“PhytaTech has always been known for fast, reliable data and this ISO-17025 accreditation is another feather in our cap.” Goldman concluded.
