Seattle was graced with another visit from the Cannabis Grand Cru this year for their Third Annual event. The line up of speakers featured some of the industry’s leaders from a tremendous range of ancillary and cannabis businesses. As the cannabis community continues to expand, networking at a cannabis event like the Cannabis Grand Cru is one of the best ways to make new connections, meet up with old friends and gain insight into new aspects of the industry.

This year’s event was located at the Fremont Foundry, which is a beautiful building that was the perfect size to host these informative lectures and trade booths. Topics that were covered ranged from cannabis production, marketing, and financing workshops, to an amazing culinary demonstration featuring Alison Draison from Ettalew’s Edibles and Marco Hoffman from Evergreen Herbal. A wide variety of companies were also tabling at the event answering questions about their products and services, including I502 producer and processor Cultivar Syndicate, Viridian Staffing and as well as Laurel Friesen of Mother Earth Botanicals. (Check out more about Laurel and her work at Mother Earth in our next issue!)
