RICCA Chemical Company, based in Arlington, Texas, recently released a completely new line of products tailored for the cannabis industry. RICCA is the largest independent manufacturer of inorganic laboratory reagents, solutions, and standards in North America. But before now they have solely served the non-cannabis laboratory industry. As they enter the cannabis industry after thirty years RICCA is prepared to make the rounds at tradeshows to get the word out about their new line of products.
These products are meant for the extraction and testing lab industries, respectively. Products such as Extraction Chemicals, Terpenes, Residual Solvent and Heavy Metals (AA, ICP) Testing products accredited to ISO 17025 and Guide 34, High Purity Water and General Use Reagents are included in the line. RICCA hopes that these products can help testing laboratories gain access to solutions that can save them time and money.

Recent legalization by several states for both medical and adult use have impacted the market tremendously. One of the more exciting products in this line include food-grade terpenes that are meant specifically for cannabis processors. These terpenes are available now from the well-respected chemical company. Their line includes Camphene, Myrcene, Terpinolene and D-Limonene. RICCA has three manufacturing facilities within the United States so companies supplying with them won’t have issues when it comes time to restock.
RICCA hopes to provide relevant solutions to the rapidly expanding extraction and testing lab industries. Laboratories can expect ISO 17025/Guide 34 accredited products. Labs will also receive traceability and measurements that are calibrated to the national standard.
