Shannon Swantek Newest Addition to Terpenes and Testing Advisory Board
Newport Beach, CA – July 30, 2017 – The prominent scientific cannabis publication is thrilled Shannon Swantek, experienced in formulating testing lab regulations, to the Advisory Board.
The members of Terpenes and Testing Magazine’s Advisory Board work together to edit and finely tune articles before they go to print every other month. Soon, the Terpenes and Testing team will also be working closely with the Board of Advisors to structure the speakers and topics covered at the Terpenes and Testing World Conference, to take place in San Jose, CA in April 2017.
“Terpenes and Testing provides comprehensive articles on technical aspects of cannabis, filling a void of information that this industry is thirsting for and I’m thrilled to be a part of it!” Swantek exclaimed.
Shannon Swantek is a Senior Quality Assurance Chemist with Vitale Scientific Associates, LLC (VSA) who holds broad knowledge of the environmental and cannabis industries. She has a robust regulatory background that includes 8 years of experience performing audits nationally to the NELAC Institute (TNI) and ISO 17025:2005 Standards in environmental, food, agricultural, and cannabis laboratories.
“As we hosted our first webinar Shannon Swantek was present asking relevant questions that built on the conversation at hand. WIth this in mind we were ecstatic when she accepted the space on our Advisory Board team.” said Editor-in-Chief Cara Wietstock.
Terpenes and Testing Magazine continues to strive to only publish ‘good science’ and promote standards and methods to match these goals. The addition of Swantek to the Advisory Board will only further these efforts.
