Michael “BigMike” Straumietis & His L.A. Chapter of Holiday Heroes to Help 2,000 Homeless for Easter

Those familiar with the nutrient industry are surely familiar with BigMike and Advanced Nutrients. When all nutrient brands were hiding behind tomatoes staying far, far away from talking cannabis; BigMike was right there in the grow operations learning about his clients, and openly marketing the Advanced Nutrients line of products directly to cannabis growers. With that same gusto, BigMike is hosting a philanthropic event next week.

Holiday Heroes , which was formed in Bulgaria in 2014 and has fed over 30,000 families, now has its first US-based chapter in Los Angeles. BigMike is throwing a Holiday Heroes Easter Donation at his mansion and all across Los Angeles. The event will take place on Friday, April 14 from 10 AM to 10 PM. The goal of this event is to provide 2000 homeless men, women, and children across Los Angeles with backpacks full of necessities that will make their Easter, and many months to come, better. CEO Big Mike and the Advanced Nutrients team will donate over $100K worth of goods to families that are currently displaced.

Among these donations are backpacks with basic essentials that give those who are down on their luck a nice boost of confidence. About 75 volunteers will be present to assemble and distribute backpacks at BigMike’s Mansion in the West Hollywood Hills. Volunteers will pack up hygiene products, living necessities, and non-perishable items. For Christmas, 2016, Holiday Heroes LA provided LA’s homeless men, women, and children 1,500 backpacks filled with daily necessities like dental hygiene products, socks, food items, gloves, blankets, and toys for the kids.
