Cannabis Sustainability Symposium announces David Bronner as keynote.

In the Fall of this year, the Cannabis Certification Council (CCC) will host the second annual Cannabis Sustainability Symposium. The two-day event will focus on the best techniques, tools, and technologies to build a safe and efficient cannabis industry. In the last few weeks, it was announced that David Bronner would be keynoting the Symposium this year.

David Bronner is a prominent advocate for drug policy reform. He is also CEO of Dr. Bronner’s, a top selling soap brand in the United States. Bronner added, “I look forward to addressing the 2017 Cannabis Sustainability Symposium, which will bring together industry leaders working in the legal markets to share best practices to achieve ethically sourced cannabis.”

The keynote will kick off sessions built to discuss the inner workings of an efficient and safe cannabis industry. Experts from across the country are slotted in sessions that will touch on topics like lighting, greenhouse design, water conservation, packaging, integrated pest management, and ethics.

This isn’t the first step into drug policy reform advocacy for the soap brand. In April of this year, Dr. Bronner’s pledged $5 Million to the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS). This donation is meant to make MDMA into FDA-Approved medicine for PTSD. The family-owned brand has always dedicated to making the world a better place.

Bronner added to this sentiment, “As a company, Dr. Bronner’s is committed to making socially and environmentally responsible products of the highest value, and we believe it is critical for the cannabis industry to begin driving ethical and organic ethos for the sector.”

The Symposium is not only an opportunity to learn, it is an opportunity to network with some of the leading minds in cannabis. Tickets will be available starting in July, learn more about the session speakers on their website.
